Version history
What's changed, and when. The version you're running is shown in the
bottom-left corner of the tracker.
v1.1
Current
Latest release
Roll without dice, choose how much of the session you're looking at, and
find out how any chart is calculated without leaving the page.
- New
Auto Roll in the top bar throws random dice for you, with speeds from 0.5x up to 10x. Speed changes take effect immediately rather than after the current interval finishes.
- New
Every chart has a View All / Last 50 dropdown. View All fits the whole session on screen with no scrolling; Last 50 shows the recent rolls at full spacing and scrolls.
- New
An explanation under every chart: hover the "How is this calculated?" caption for the arithmetic behind that chart, including where each probability comes from.
- New
Site menu in the top bar linking Home, Auto Roller, FAQ, About, Version and Contact.
- New
Hot and cold cards now show each face's share of all dice rolled, next to the 16.7% you would expect on even odds — so a raw count reads as hot or cold at a glance.
- New
Embers drift up behind the hot number, and real snowfall drifts down behind the cold one, replacing the static frost sparkle.
- New
All of that motion switches itself off for anyone whose device is set to reduce motion, keeping the colours without the movement.
- Changed
Charts are much smoother. New points now slide out of the existing line instead of growing up from the baseline, and the animation loop repaints rather than rebuilding every chart's layout sixty times a second.
- Changed
Scrolling back through a long session no longer gets yanked to the newest roll — a chart only follows the latest data if you were already looking at that end.
- Removed
The separate simulator link, now that Auto Roll runs on this page, and the standalone FAQ button, which the menu covers.
v1.0
First public release
The first working version: enter rolls, watch the session build.
- New
Live roll entry with a die icon per value — the next row appears the moment both dice are set, with no button in between.
- New
Current Average chart plotting every roll sum and the running average, with shaded overbought / oversold bands and an animated reference line at 7.
- New
Live sum distribution for totals 2 through 12, overlaid with the theoretical bell curve scaled to the session size.
- New
Cumulative progress charts against expected value for hardways, sevens, the field bet, Snake Eyes and Boxcars, and Ace-Deuce and Yo.
- New
Crosshair readouts on every chart, showing that roll's actual, expected and difference figures.
- New
Hot and cold die faces, with ties shown together.
- New
Back-to-back streak breakdowns for all eleven roll totals, colour-coded by how likely each total is.
- New
Collapsible chart cards, sticky legends that stay put while a chart scrolls, and a confirm-guarded session reset.
How versions are numbered. The first number changes when something
big is rebuilt or removed, the second when features are added, and a third would
appear for small fixes — so v1.1 adds something, and v2.0 would mean a
substantial rework.
